A HUGE thank you to YOU and our BFO. Since the BFO has made a return…each year they’ve decided to purchase and donate something back to the school for school/BFO use. Last year, Mighty the Mustang was purchased and Mighty has made quite a few appearances since then!! This year, the BFO voted for funds to be used to purchase this 20’ inflatable movie screen and its AMAZING. We can’t wait to announce our first movie night so stay tuned.
Make sure you take some time to attend our BFO meetings to help support the upcoming events!! They meet the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 @BES Multipurpose Room
GCJ2 is thankful to be able to partner with our school-based mental health service partner Professional Services Group (PSG) to present a FREE informational session to help students and parents during this challenging time. The topic is provided by PSG where questions and discussion is open for participants on Understanding the Effects of the Pandemic on our Children. Science on Saturday is being offered once again to those interested students in grades 3-5! The STEM activities will enrich your child’s love of science and offer physical science, engineering and earth science topics. Learn about the Great Barrier Reef, coral, environmental issues as well as the basics of forces and motion. There will be experiments and projects. Come join the fun!

BMS Student Council is doing their annual candy cane sales during all the BMS lunch times. Students can bring their money to their scheduled lunch time and fill out slips for their candy canes to be delivered to anyone in the building.
GCJ2 is SO excited to announce our Open Gym hours for not only our students but our community members during Winter Break. {Dec 27 3pm-7pm // Dec 30 3pm-7pm // Jan 2 1pm-4pm} We hope to see you utilize the hallway walking/running, activities in the gym, and/or our awesome fitness room!

A huge shout out to Lakeland Community Church for their bag donations, Mac's Moving and Storage for donating all of the boxes, The Lost Sock in Genoa City, our BFO for helping us organize the boxes, our Brookwood Family Engagement Group for the books and educational literature.
