GCJ2 Fitness Room --Open to the Public-- *starting July 29* Every Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday from 6pm-8pm Cost: FREE Location: BMS Open to all 16 and Older. Thank you....thank you...thank you to all of our parents and students that supported our summer school program this summer! It was so nice to have so many students attend.

We are truly thankful for everyone's continued support in the District.
Art camp summer school students experienced a variety of art adventures: painting, drawing, coloring, and more! Way to work hard, Mustangs!!
Students in summer school drawing club had a blast working on their drawing skills. Students will gained confidence with this how-to-draw, directed drawing and coloring class and had so much fun while sharpening their skills!
Students in creative card making summer school made a variety of fun and beautiful cards using different ideas and techniques. Look at some of their amazing final products!
We loved seeing all these amazing and collaborative lego structures made by our students in our summer school lego club!!
Summer School Forest Experiences class in session 1 and 2 was a blast but it took a little bit of a change when the storm came through and took down several trees, but these foresters never flinched! They jumped right in and helped pick up limbs and made the school forest usable for the community and our class. Hard work with great rewards! They also explored the forest and learned about berries, invasive plants and insects, and how to climb trees. They enjoyed making fairy houses and eating s'mores and apple pudgy pies. Everyone went home dirty, tired, and happy!
The final destination for the Passport to the World class brought them to vibrant Brazil. Students delved into the country's rich culture, created colorful carnival masks, savored delicious pão de queijo, and enjoyed refreshing Brazilian lemonade. They also played a traditional Brazilian game. What an incredible adventure this class has been on this week!
These volleyball stars made impressive strides this week, showing remarkable improvement in summer school volleyball. They had a blast together, and we hope to see many of these talented students joining the school team next year!
We hope you enjoyed today's performance of "The Wizard of Oz". Our cast worked incredibly hard and delivered an outstanding show. May you follow the yellow brick road to a fantastic rest of your summer!
